Supporting the journey from school and day services to employment, independence, and meaningful adult lives.
The transition to adulthood is one of the most important milestones for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). ArcMorris offers specialized Transition Programs that provide structured, person-centered pathways to employment, community engagement, and independent living.
Whether someone is graduating high school, exploring employment for the first time, or seeking greater independence, our programs meet individuals where they are and help them move forward with confidence.

Pathways to Employment
Empowering individuals with I/DD to explore, prepare for, and achieve meaningful employment.
Pathways to Employment is a flexible, person-centered program designed to help individuals build the skills, confidence, and real-world experience needed to secure competitive, integrated employment.

- Career exploration and interest assessments
- Resume writing and interview preparation
- Job sampling, internships, and volunteer experiences
- Workplace readiness and social skills training
- Travel and transportation training
- Job placement and retention support
With adaptable staffing ratios and flexible scheduling, supports are provided when and where they are needed, including community-based instruction, internships, and evening or weekend employment.
Pathways works closely with families, schools, employers, support coordinators, and state partners including NJ DDD and DVRS to create seamless pathways into employment.
The goal: More individuals with I/DD working in competitive, integrated jobs and building purposeful, fulfilling lives.
